umm
July 16, 2008, 7:03 pmfirst week of band camp ends tomorrow. sweetness. all-guard sleepover friday as well. it shall be awesome. also, ramen is delicious. and someone at sonic is a genius and knows the perfect amount of ice to put in a cup to not make the drink too watery. kudos.
ok so on my friends profile he has funny quotes and stories and such. i absolutely have to share these with the world. theyre down there *points down*
IronChef Foicite: well, there’s a lot of reasons
IronChef Foicite: i mean, roses only last like a couple weeks
IronChef Foicite: and that’s if you leave them in water
IronChef Foicite: and they really only exist to be pretty
IronChef Foicite: so that’s like saying
IronChef Foicite: “my love for you is transitory and based solely on your appearance”
IronChef Foicite: but a potato!
IronChef Foicite: potatos last forever, man
IronChef Foicite: in fact, not only will they not rot, they actually grow crap even if you just leave them in the sack
IronChef Foicite: that part alone makes it a good symbol
IronChef Foicite: but there’s more!
IronChef Foicite: there are so many ways to enjoy a potato! you can even make a battery with it!
IronChef Foicite: and that’s like saying “i have many ways in which I show my love for you”
IronChef Foicite: and potatos may be ugly, but they’re still awesome
IronChef Foicite: so that’s like saying “it doesn’t matter at all what you look like, I’ll still love you”
lib1790> so, at this college there was an extra credit question “Is hell endothermic or exothermic”
lib1790> this is what one kid wrote:
lib1790> First, we postulate that if souls exist, then they must have some mass. If they do, then a mole of souls can also have a mass. So, at what rate are souls moving into hell and at what rate are souls leaving? I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving.
lib1790>As for souls entering hell, lets look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Some of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to hell. Since, there are more than one of these religions and people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all people and all souls go to hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in hell to increase exponentially.
lib1790> Now, we look at the rate of change in volume in hell. Boyle’s Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in hell to stay the same, the ratio of the mass of souls and volume needs to stay constant.
lib1790>So, if hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter hell, then the temperature and pressure in hell will increase until all hell breaks loose (i.e.,Hell is exothermic).
liv1790>Of course, if hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in hell, than the temperature and pressure will drop until hell freezes over (i.e.,Hell is endothermic).
lib1790>So which is it? If we accept the postulate given by Ms.Therese Banyan during my freshman year, “That it will be a cold night in hell before I go out with you,” and take into account the fact that I still have not succeeded in having a relationship with her, the second case cannot be true. Therefore, hell is exothermic.
lib1790> the kid was the only one who got credit
hehehe.
peace.

genius i am.
March 23, 2008, 10:57 pmi was watching waterworld last night, and guess whose name i saw in the credits?
jack black.
i was the only one to realize who he was before i went and looked it up. :]

thats the captain of the ship on the right, and jack black’s picture as the original captain of their boat, which happens to be the Exxon Valdez.
And if you look at this picture of the captain in real life from TIME magazine…

i think you can see the similarity.

March 11, 2008, 4:59 pm I was reading eclipse last night, and at the end of all the Twilight books there is a chapter of the next one to come. So, as I’m finishing up this one, I go on to read that chapter. The last book(breaking dawn) doesn’t come out until August 2 which makes me sad but oh well.
In all these books, they are narrated by the main character, Bella. But this chapter was narrated by her…friend (no spoilers here). It took me about three tries to finally realize that it was Jacob, because those were definitely not Bella’s words. And it flat out didn’t make sense. I feel kind of stupid for not realizing it earlier, seeing as at the beginning it had said ‘Jacob Black’ at the top. Nonetheless, I have finished all three books that have been released so far from the Twilight series.
So I went to my room to go to sleep last night. I set my alarm on like I always do, and laid down. After what seemed like 3 seconds, my alarm went off. I looked at it in disbelief. How could 7 hours, or however long ago, have passed by in a matter of seconds? Calling my clock a liar, I shut it off and went back to sleep.
As it turns out, it wasn’t lying. At 7:20 Noah came around and woke us up saying the time to us all to get us up and out of bed. After that, the house was in a rush. Noah and I were the only ones who managed to get out just in time for the bus, which happened to be 7:27. I think 7 minutes is a new record for me.
School was halfway interesting. In spanish, I found out that I knew our verbs and how to conjugate them a lot better than I thought. As for biology, the kid I sit next to had just drank a giant Monster energy drink. His hands were jittery and he was in a hyper (but good) mood. During the break before algebra, the halls were so crowded I couldn’t see the signs for the bathrooms and I didn’t really think about it either, and low and behold, I walked into the boys bathroom. Lucky for me, no one was in there. I quickly hurried into the girls room next door. Art was semi-fun, we had a powerpoint(again) and my notes were a lot neater than usual.
All-in-all an adventurous day. Now I get to go do biology homework!
*pretends to be excited…then fails horribly.*

a sad truth.
February 5, 2008, 8:14 pmi thought of something earlier today.
i feel sorry for colorblind people.
you know that saying ‘the grass is always greener on the other side’?
how would they know which side was greener?
they must feel so indecisive.

paper rock and scissors
December 30, 2007, 4:55 pmI took a little quiz on face book called ‘How Many 5 year olds Could You Take On In A Fight?’ It said I could only handle five. Which is total crap, because I’ve handled about 12 just fine in one little sunday school room before when the teachers were out doing whatever.
So with this darn toe of mine broken, I can’t go climbing for awhile. Hopefully I can go later this week, if mom allows. -_- But I need to go more than once before school starts again because I haven’t practiced in more than awhile and we have a comp the week school starts back. Plus, they get harder every time (duh) and I didn’t do so well on the last one. i even have some new gloves, a bizzarely-awesome fuzzy pink chalk bag, and a chalk ball. i miss climbing ;_;
Neeom is doing well, thanks for asking. I finally figured out how to make him go to sleep, so thats pretty good. And he’s been singing to me ^_^
My nails are sparkly blue, its schmantastically awesome.
Blue nails and a purple toe.
Alas, I am a colorful person. :]
