mini-blog time

tomorrow we play dobbyns-bennet..it should be one of our 2 biggest games of the year. we beat them last year for the first time ever, so we do have hope. the other biggie is against the farragut admirals. we have a girl on guard who came from farragut, i wonder who she’ll cheer for.
also we wear our uniforms for the first time tomorrow, that should be exciting.

i should be doing my homework. stop distracting me

Hola! As most of you know I am in the Bearden High School Marching Band. This year we’re having our 22nd annual Car Wash this Saturday, August 16th from 9AM-5PM. It’s at the Office Depot on Kingston pike, just look for lots of wet band kids and bubbles.
(rain date:august 23rd, same times)
We normally wash about 1000 cars throughout the whole day and its all for free, but we mainly raise money through sponsorships. A typical sponsorship is like $15-20 but you would be my best friend ever if you donated more than that. We use the money to pay for transportation to games and our many competitions(that we do pretty darn well in), new uniforms, and new equipment. Checks can be made out to Bearden Band and you can message me for my address if you need it.
I’m trying to raise somewhere over $400 which breaks down as followed; $125 school band fee, $150 band booster fee, roughly $100 uniform price, and we haven’t been given the price for the sweat suits but they aren’t free either.

Any amount donated would be a huge help.

they didnt have any blue left -_- but the pink is still cute.

i am yet to finish breaking dawn. if i do by today, then my record is 3 days.
(i would have finished it yesterday but noooo i had to go to bed super early as a ’school bedtime’. like im uncapable of waking myself up and getting ready without having and internal clock set. my body doesnt work that way. its called having a real alarm clock.)

im at barnes and nobles right now (yay for wifi)
theyre just about to call for people to get in line for the new twilight book, breaking dawn. im number 17 which is awesome because at the harry potter 7 thing i was 203.. i feel pretty accomplished. moms taking a picture of me right now. and again. and again, at a different angle. wait, one more. uno mas. and again. does the camera not get tired of taking pictures of the same subject over and over again? maybe thats how theyve progressed in camera business. in the labs, they take pictures of one thing overandoverandover again until the camera gets tired of it and makes it be a perfect picture every time.

technically its the day after tomorrow because of the whole midnight thing, but whatever. i was really hoping to go to borders, all the harry potter parties there have rocked so you can only imagine what all theyre gonna do with the Twilight parties. theres still one if not two more to come out. but im going to barnes and noble instead because i totally forgot to pre-order it and borders is all out.

food.. gone… not even cereal. i may go make some eggs. or something in a can. or get some ice cream. thats pretty much my food horizon at the moment.
elysia left her bra here, and im hoping i can use that as an excuse to go to the mall for a few small hours before she leaves for SMF (again). she may need it for riding. who knows how many she has? this is a serious crisis. she may be unable to ride sutton one day all because she ran out of bras.. because i wasn’t able to return this one. its a zebra-stripey, too. she could ride in fashion. what a cruel world. unless mall is a yes. i have to call her, anyway i dont know if she has power yet from last nights storm (im assuming so.)

first week of band camp ends tomorrow. sweetness. all-guard sleepover friday as well. it shall be awesome. also, ramen is delicious. and someone at sonic is a genius and knows the perfect amount of ice to put in a cup to not make the drink too watery. kudos.

is delicious. i have lots, due to my party. which was awesome. me, elysia, megan, amy, and the rents all went to see wall.e and narnia at the drive-in. wall.e was absolutely amazing- veryveryvery cute. narnia was good too, but i didnt like the fact that susan didnt get to stay with the prince. it made me sad.

m&m’s are good.

i gots a new phone!!!!!!! its at&t’s new smartphone centro palm thingamajig. its pretty awesome. i can do e-mail, im, internet, music, and all kinds of stuff. i would put up the video of the commercial for it- the ones with a guy sleeping and his hand reaches over of its own accord and plays with the phone all night long, or when he’s at a restaurant and his hand reaches back to play with someone elses phone. but i couldnt find it on youtube or anywhere. ug.

my birthday was yesterday, (24th) check out the awesome happenings-
~chicago has been cancelled,
(thats the second dose of false hope for a trip there)
~on my actual birthday i got nothing, (party is on friday, but still?)
~and whats more humiliating than not being able to get your permit because you failed the vision test?

news flash: appointment at 2, dr.bizers. you know, the guy whose sign looks funny at night prey to missing letters. woo-hoo, glasses. maybe they have something with polka dots or stripes. anything with color would be nice. i like blue. it matches everything. well, almost.

my marching band is off….. to CHICAGO!!!
its gonna be a blast. a week of all sorts of shows such as seeing Wicked on broadway,
having a hotel on the river, not to mention being in the…
McDonalds Thankgiving Day Parade!!
yeah, i know. its awesome.
but heres the catch- its gonna cost me $950.
and i don’t have that kind of money in my piggy bank.
i actually don’t even have a piggy bank,
its a plastic jar that counts coins as i put them in. ANYWAY…..
